Review of I BELONG TO YOU: An Inside Out Novel by Lisa Renee Jones

Publisher's blurb:
The stunning conclusion to Mark and Crystal’s relationship in the passionate, all-consuming Inside Out series by New York Times bestselling author Lisa Renee Jones.

Master…

Being that person, that man, is how I define myself, how I allow the rest of the world to define me as well. And now, with a terrible loss shredding me inside out and someone trying to destroy my family to punish me, control is more important than ever. It is everything. It is what I need. It is all I need. Or maybe I just need…her.

Finally, Mark's story!!! Since BEING ME, I was eager to hear what made Mark Compton act the way he did. We had littler teasers and nudges throughout the series and in his and Crystal's novellas, but here we get the whole story!

Mark was so wounded and was (silently) crying out for help. He made an absolute mess of his relationship with Rebecca and wasn't ready to try again. Crystal saw that he was hurting and wanted to take away his pain, though she in no way wanted to start a relationship with him.

Mark Compton is one of my top book boyfriends of all time and I was thrilled that Lisa Renee Jones gave him a heroine that didn't lay down and take his 'Master' crap. Crystal was a strong woman who stood up for herself and wouldn't let Mark walk all over her.  They were perfect together.  Each of them needs each other equally and they found a love in each other that can't be topped.

There are so many questions answered in this book that left me satisfied as a reader. We know what has happened to Rebecca and who was responsible. We learn why Mark turned into the Master and why control is so important to him. Mark is forced to acknowledge his emotions, which isn't easy for him.
